# Lines of Battle — project reference Lines of Battle is a tactical strategy game built around simultaneous turns. Each player plans a move, then every move resolves at once. The game asks players to plan orders, anticipate their opponent, and adapt after both sides' choices are revealed. ## Lines of Battle 2D Lines of Battle 2D is the version available on the web, Android, and iOS. It is free to play and focuses on online ranked matches. Web and mobile players can match together. Development is funded through cosmetics and convenience features that do not affect match outcomes. Current areas of work listed on the official roadmap include quality and stability, controls across mobile and PC, new team modes, competition and fair play, player progression, social features, development support, and additional optional historical eras.
